She began showing them how to make their cakes even.

And then they practiced making trim on a plastic coated, reusable sheet. Brilliant.
Next, it was time for cutting out decorative pieces from marshmallow fondant.
They frosted the cake and put trim around the edges before adding their fondant decorations.
These were their masterpieces.
And they tasted as good as they looked!
